Anthro Expo 2020 FlyerAbout this Event:

The CSUN Department of Anthropology invites you to attend ANTHRO EXPO 2020. The theme this year is Bridges, Connections and Transformations: Anthropology for Understanding the World Today. Please join us via Zoom to learn from students, faculty, and special guests as they present their research.

Special Guest:

Dr. Margaret MacLean

“Study Anthropology, Save the World!

Dr. MacLean will talk about how she used her education in Anthropology in a career that took several unexpected turns. While she intended to be an academic archaeologist, terrorism in Peru changed the plan. She transitioned into work that took her to over two dozen countries, protecting archaeological and historic heritage from deterioration, destruction, and looting. She will also discuss other careers that can usefully build on a background in Anthropology.
