COVID-19 Booster Requirement Update | APC

Dear Campus Colleagues:

I am pleased to share with you that the CSU has completed the meet and confer process with APC (Unit 4) requiring employees be vaccinated against COVID-19, including receiving a booster vaccination.

APC represented employees who are accessing campus facilities must provide certification of booster no later than Friday, May 13, 2022, or upon eligibility according to CDC guidelines, whichever is later.

Booster certification or a request for a medical or religious exemption may be submitted in the myNorthridge Portal, under the Policies and Procedures pagelet of the Faculty or Staff tab, by selecting the EE Vaccine Self-Certification link and completing the form accordingly.

APC represented employees who have not yet received their booster vaccination or have a medical or religious exemption will be subject to weekly COVID-19 testing. Campus-sponsored weekly testing is provided at no charge to the employee and the time spent testing is considered hours worked. Please visit COVID-19 Employee Testing for testing information.

Finally, APC employees may refer to the corresponding fully executed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
