COVID-19 Vaccination Update | February 25, 2021

Dear Campus Colleagues:

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has announced expanding distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine to include education workers, effective March 1, 2021. Education workers include all faculty, staff, administrators, and student employees.

We are actively in discussion with county officials to see how we can streamline vaccine distribution for our employees at the county COVID-19 vaccination site located on our campus. We will send an additional e-mail as we have more information.

Our understanding is that due to continued vaccine shortages and prioritization for K-12 employees, higher education employees will be eligible around mid-March. Please view the county website site for additional information on scheduling:

Acceptable Documentation - The county has not yet posted specific employment verification documents which will be acceptable for education workers. Should an employment verification letter be identified as an acceptable form of documentation, below are instructions on how to access a downloadable employment verification letter.

Go to www.inverify.net and select "Get Started."

1. Scroll down to Employee Registration and select "Register."
2. Enter the Company Code = CSN440, provide the rest of the required information, and select "Register."
3. You will receive an email to validate your email address. Please click on the link and input your email address. Once your email address is validated, you may select the Login link to access your account and choose from the available options.
4. Once logged into the Employee Services page, select Verification of Employment Express Letter.
5. Verify data and select finish.
6. Download the document, save, and print.
