Are you a STEM major who is NOT required to take ESM? Take Early STEM!

EARLY STEM is an optional and free program for freshmen ready for college level mathematics.

As a STEM major, proper fall math placement is essential for a smooth transition to CSUN. Your fall math placement is Pre-Calculus I (MATH102), but students in the EARLY STEM program can potentially improve their placement to:

• Pre-Calculus II (MATH105),
• Calculus I (MATH150A or 255A)

See flyer here

Course dates:  Monday, June 20, 2022 to Friday, August 5, 2022.
