Absences

When a student was absent from school, upon returning to school she/he will go to the Attendance Office before school begins to get a readmit. The student will then get the Period One teacher’s signature on the readmit at the start of the class. The student will get each teacher’s signature as the day goes on. In science class when the student presents the readmit to the teacher, the student will then receive the missed work. The student must also ask her/his study buddy for any other work that was missed. It is the responsibility of the student to

ask what work was collected during his/her absence and hand it in immediately.

If a student comes to class without a readmit, the student will immediately be sent to the attendance office to clear the absence. The student will receive an

tardy for the time used to get the readmit during class time.
