Getting started

Some of the services available to veterans include priority registration, tutoring, financial assistance, career counseling, counseling services and disability resources. To get started and determine your benefits, follow these steps.

  1. Gather your military transcripts, such as AARTS (Army/American Council on Education Registry Transcript System), SMART (Sailor/Marine American Council on Education Registry Transcript), CCAF (Community College of the Air Force) or DD 214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty) documents.
  2. Determine your benefits by consulting the education services officer (ESO) on your base or your local Veterans Affairs office.
