If you are a deaf or hard-of-hearing prospective student, please contact the National Center on Deafness by emailing Aileen Rolon, application processor, at before applying to CSUN. In the email, include your full name and the year and semester you are applying for.

Admissions requirements

Deaf and hard-of-hearing students must meet the same admissions requirements as other students. You may view specific admissions requirements by selecting Future Freshmen, Transfer Students or any of the other student groups. Deaf and hard-of-hearing students must also submit a supplemental application. See the How to Apply area for details about the supplemental application process.

To apply for admission to CSUN, you must complete an online application on the CSUMentor website. In addition, if you are a deaf or hard-of-hearing student, you must submit a supplemental application and all documents requested in order to receive communication access services.
