Trans Empowerment Celebration Brings on a Gender Affirming Clothing Swap and Trans Punk Show

October 20, 2022

WHAT: The Pride Center of the University Student Union (USU) invites all students, trans and nonbinary folks to celebrate Trans Awareness Week and commemorate Trans Day of Remembrance with special events. Matadors can express joy through style with the Gender Affirming Clothing Swap, a trans and gender expansive clothing exchange where they can pick out donated clothing in an effort to promote sustainable and non-gender specific fashion. Everyone is even welcome to bring their own clean or gently used clothing and accessories to swap. The celebration will close with Trans-gression – a trans punk show guaranteed to rock.
