WHAT:
The Pride Center of the University Student Union (USU) invites all Queer and Trans* People of Color at CSUN to join us for an open mic night event to share your personal experiences during “QTPOC Manifestations: Queering Migration”. Come enjoy free snacks and drinks at the Games Room while listening to inspiring music, poetry, spoken word, and other forms of expressive art that will provide a welcoming and healing space for all!
WHO:
Xarlie Facio, USU Student Pride Center Assistant, is responsible for coordinating this event.
WHEN:
This event will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 8 to 10 p.m.
WHERE:
This event will be held at the Games Room in the USU (Located across from the Student Recreation Center main entrance.)
WHY:
To create a healing space for the QTPOC community to come together and share their experiences through poetry, spoken word, music, and art.
