Pride Center Welcomes CSUN LGBTQ Community and Allies to “National Coming Out Day” Celebration at the USU

Northridge- The Pride Center at the University Student Union (USU) invites all LGBTQ and CSUN campus allies to a special celebration of  “National Coming Out Day”. On Thursday, Oct. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Northridge Center at the USU, come experience this exciting event, be proud to Be You by embracing the event’s theme, “#I Am”, and celebrate people who identify as LGBTQ but have not yet come out. Attendees will enjoy a variety show, a historical exhibition of National Coming Out Day, refreshments, crafts, a photo booth and more – all for FREE.

“'National Coming Out Day’ is one of the Pride Center’s absolute favorite days to celebrate and we are happy to provide the CSUN community a place to do so,” said Pride Center Coordinator, Sarina Loeb. “Everyone at CSUN is welcome to attend this event and will be able to enjoy a variety of special activities in two exciting hours.”

Attendees can enjoy an entertaining variety show featuring singing, spoken word and dance performances.  Be sure to check out the powerful National Coming Out Day history exhibition. There will also be a photo booth, expression chalk wall and a Craft Corner to unleash your creative side through decorating your own photo booth sleeve and coaster.
