The Pride Center of the University Student Union (USU) invites all CSUN LGBTQ+ students to participate in “Queer in Your Career”, a one-of-a-kind networking opportunity with LGBTQ+ professionals. Take part in a special career fair with LGBTQ-friendly companies, challenge yourself in mock interviews, and enjoy a riveting panel discussion and networking dinner with “out” LGBTQ+ representatives from various career fields to learn from their personal experiences. This event will take place on Wednesday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
All interested participants must RSVP by Friday, April 6.
The career fair will be held in the Plaza del Sol. The rest of the event will be held in the Northridge Center at the University Student Union.
This event provides the CSUN LGBTQ+ student community the chance to network and find career connections.
“Queer in Your Career” is free to all CSUN students. Here’s the schedule lineup: from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. it’s the LGBTQ+ inclusive career fair; from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. it’s mock interviews; and from 5 to 8 p.m. it’s the panel discussion and networking dinner.
