The Pride Center of the University Student Union (USU) invites all CSUN LGBTQ+ students to participate in “Queer in Your Career”, a one-of-a-kind networking opportunity with LGBTQ+ professionals. Take part in a special career fair with LGBTQ-friendly companies, challenge yourself in mock interviews, and enjoy a riveting panel discussion and networking dinner with “out” LGBTQ+ representatives from various career fields to learn from their personal experiences. WHEN:
This event will take place on Wednesday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
All interested participants must RSVP by Friday, April 6.
WHERE:
The career fair will be held in the Plaza del Sol. The rest of the event will be held in the Northridge Center at the University Student Union.
WHY:
This event provides the CSUN LGBTQ+ student community the chance to network and find career connections.
BACKGROUND:
“Queer in Your Career” is free to all CSUN students. Here’s the schedule lineup: from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. it’s the LGBTQ+ inclusive career fair; from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. it’s mock interviews; and from 5 to 8 p.m. it’s the panel discussion and networking dinner.
