MEDIA ALERT
WHAT: The Pride Center of the University Student Union (USU) invites Deaf, Queer Matadors, ASL (American Sign Language) folks and allies to Deaf Queer Coffee Nights, where they can form strong bonds and build community. Attendees can sip on some coffee, enjoy light snacks and engage in arts and crafts as they connect with one another. Anyone is welcome but participants must keep their voices off during the event.
WHO: Whitney Workman, Acting Pride Center Coordinator, is supervising this event.
WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 29 & Wednesday, Nov. 10 from 5 to 7 p.m.
WHERE: Pride Center (2nd Floor) Sol Center, USU
WHY: This event provides Deaf, Queer Matadors, ASL folks and allies the opportunity to connect with each other while enjoying some fun activities together.
