“Expressions” Offers the Pub Stage for CSUN Students to Express Their Art at the University Student Union

WHAT:

The University Student Union (USU) invites CSUN students to have the spotlight and perform at the popular “Expressions” event in the Pub Sports Grill every third Wednesday of the month this semester. Whether you want to share your spoken word, singing, dancing, beat boxing, a musical instrument or any other outlet of self-expression, all are welcome to take the stage and express themselves. It’s also fine to just sit back with free snacks and beverages to watch other talented Matadors put on some amazing performances – all for FREE!

WHO:

Kelsey Almendral, Student Events Assistant, is responsible for putting on this event. 

WHEN:

Wednesday, Sept. 20, Oct. 18 and Nov. 15 at 8 p.m.

WHERE:

The Pub Sports Grill at the USU

WHY:

Provide a safe space for students to showcase their personal artistry on campus and develop a greater appreciation for expressive performance art.

BACKGROUND:

CSUN students can showcase their artistic side at “Expressions”. Hosted by co median and CSUN alumnus Sean Hill, this special open-mic style event will provide a unique and inspirational environment for students to express their thoughts, opinions and emotions. All are welcome to attend whether you want to perform or just cheer on your friends. Light snacks will be provided for free. Come share your imagination and express yourself at “Expressions”!
