The Pride Center supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex and asexual (LGBTQIA+) students, faculty and staff through programming and educational outreach to improve the campus climate for LGBTQIA+ individuals as well as advocate for the respect and safety of all members of the campus community.

“Peer Mentor Program” at the Pride Center Helps LGBTQ and Questioning Students Navigate CSUN Life

The Pride Center at the University Student Union invites all LGBTQ and questioning students to meet in-person with other students just like them through the “LGBTQ Peer Mentor Program,” who are trained to help them on their journey at CSUN.  Connect with one of the  peer mentors and feel free to discuss LGBTQ topics such as coming out and gender identity. You can also receive helpful guidance and encouragement regarding personal and academic concerns, as well as important campus resource referrals. Read more
