Positive State Budget News

To the Campus Community:

Chancellor Tim White has shared the positive news that Governor Brown along with the Speaker and Pro Tem today announced an agreement on the California State University's budget request at a total of $97M above the Governor's January budget (and $59M above the May revise). All indications point to this fully funding the Trustee-approved support budget that the CSU submitted in November 2014 for the 2015-16 fiscal year.
 
We are grateful for everyone's efforts in making the case for the CSU and CSUN to the Governor and legislative leaders. More information will be forthcoming as the details of the budget become public.
