Help Make CSUN Shine Brighter

March 12, 2013

To all faculty, staff, and students:

Last November, I invited the CSUN campus community to participate in an initiative designed to tap into the collective wisdom of CSUN students, faculty and staff – Help Make CSUN Shine Brighter.

We received much thoughtful input in response to the first question posed regarding pedestrian and vehicular circulation on campus.  Thank you to all who contributed ideas and solutions. Every suggestion was considered with an eye to possible implementation either now or in the future.

I am pleased to share with you the results of the first topic, which are now posted at the Help Make CSUN Shine Brighter website. The report includes information on active improvement projects currently underway as a result of the submitted comments. Your contributions will result in a safer and more welcoming campus.

I am pleased to announce that a new question is now open for responses at the website:

The recently launched ‘CSUN Shine’ identity campaign is an exciting new vehicle for telling the CSUN story in a more compelling manner and to a larger audience.

Using ‘CSUN Shine’ as a springboard, what can we do to grow pride and school spirit and further enhance the university’s reputation?

I am eager to hear from you on this new topic of interest. Please share your thoughts and ideas online at the Help Make CSUN Shine Brighter website.

Thank you for your participation.
