To the Campus Community,
As I shared late last week, two students were tested for COVID-19. We have received confirmation from each student that their results were negative. We have additionally not received notice of any confirmed cases of our CSUN community from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LADPH), who would notify us in the event of a positive result. I know that this news is a tremendous relief for these students and their families, as well as our entire campus community.
Given the growing number of cases in Southern California and state, county and city guidance, we continue our efforts to institute social distancing measures, helping to slow the spread of COVID-19. Yesterday, I shared a number of resources for students as we return to instruction under this new paradigm. Campus updates and more information on CSUN’s COVID-19 response can be found at /csunasone.
Please continue to practice social distancing of six feet apart or more in your own lives, thoroughly wash your hands, and be good to yourself and others.
