Congratulations banner for CSUN graduates

May 3, 2017

To CSUN Faculty and Staff,

As we approach the end of the 2016-17 academic year and prepare to graduate a new class of more than 11,000 students, I wish to thank all of you for your continued contributions and dedication to CSUN and its mission. You helped raise the university and its students to new heights and should take great pride in your shared accomplishments this past year.

Several years ago, we began the tradition of honoring the graduates by having CSUN's faculty and staff sign a banner to wish our students well and offer congratulations for successfully completing their degrees. This year's banner will be first made available for signing at the Staff Service and Recognition of Excellence Awards Event scheduled for the morning of Thursday, May 4, then in the Colleagues Room on the second floor of the Sierra Center on Tuesday, May 9, Wednesday, May 10, and Thursday, May 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. In keeping with tradition, the banner will be prominently displayed on the Oviatt Library quad during graduation week.

Your efforts have contributed to the success of our students and I hope all of you can find time to share a message of good wishes and congratulations as our graduates begin the next phase of their lives.
