California State University Will Not Increase Tuition in 2018

April 22, 2018

To the Campus Community,

If you have not already seen it, I want to share news from California State University Chancellor Timothy P. White that the CSU will not increase tuition in the coming academic year and the vital importance of California lawmakers understanding and supporting the impact of high-quality public higher education in our state.

With nearly 40,000 students and 350,000 alumni, CSUN will play an indispensable role in this advocacy. We cannot allow the gains made in recent years supporting student success to disappear. It is not hyperbole to say that the future of California is at stake.

I believe in the power of our students, our faculty and our staff to have a positive impact. I ask you to share your stories of the life-changing experiences that happen at CSUN every day. Together, our voices can make a difference not just for CSUN and the CSU, but for future generations of Californians.

Thank you for all you do for CSUN.

Sincerely,

Dianne F. Harrison, Ph.D.
President
