I am proud to serve as an Outreach Counselor for the Student Outreach and Recruitment (SOAR) team at California State University, Northridge. As a proud Mexican American and CSUN alumna, I earned both my Master of Arts in Higher Education Leadership and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology here, which has shaped my passion for supporting students from all backgrounds, especially first-generation and transfer students. Before joining SOAR, I served as the STEM Transfer Program Manager at CSUN’s Health Equity Research and Education (HERE) Center, where I led outreach, mentorship, and professional development initiatives to help students successfully navigate their academic journeys. My own experiences as a first-generation college student fuel my dedication to equity, inclusion, and creating pathways for others to thrive in higher education. I am excited to continue empowering students to achieve their goals and discover the opportunities waiting for them at CSUN.
