Sign Up Now for the Mata”door” to Wellness Workshop Series!

The Oasis Wellness Center at the University Student Union encourages all students to attend Mata”door” to Wellness, a workshop series designed to help you succeed by staying healthy. Presented in collaboration with Matador 4 Wellness Peer Educators and the Klotz Student Health Center, this workshop series will run though November. Come learn some new skills to enhance your sleep, eating habits, stress management and overall college experience by attending the Mata”door” to Wellness workshops listed below:

Food, Fitness and Fun!
Wednesdays: Oct. 26, Nov. 16
Noon – 1 p.m.
Oasis Wellness Center 

These presentations provide an overview of healthy eating and physical activity, including diet and exercise daily recommendations, how to read nutrition labels, healthy dining options on campus and additional campus resources. 

Healthy Habits to Help You Thrive
Mondays: Sept. 19, Oct. 17, Nov. 7
2 – 3 p.m.
Oasis Wellness Center

These presentations touch upon six areas of health impacting college students: stress management, sleep improvement, substance abuse prevention, sexual and reproductive health, exercise and healthy eating. They also aim to highlight campus resources available to students for each of these areas.
