For thousands of years, human beings have practiced techniques of mental focusing, designed to change the habitual conditioning of the mind. These practices are considered to be a major means of enhancing awareness and self-mastery. This 90-minute workshop will explore what meditation is, its purpose and benefits as well as introduce different types of meditation techniques used.
