Transferring to California State University, Northridge in 2019, Lewis made 11 starts in 13 appearances for the Matadors, finishing with 45 saves and a 1.78 goals-against average. His saves and goals-against average were good for seventh and ninth-best in the Big West, respectively. Lewis' season was highlighted by a 10 save effort against UC Irvine in a 1-0 win, picking up his fifth win of the year. The first successful onshore breeding of a giant sea bass took place at the Aquarium of the Pacific in 2016. Known as Yutaka, that fish and its parents remain on exhibit there. In conjunction with the exhibition, Dr. Peri Klemm, professor of art history at California State University, Northridge, will present an illustrated lecture on the arts of the Yoruba people from southeastern Nigeria and Benin, with a specific focus on the beaded crowns on display in the library.
