CSUN Symphony Orchestra
Auditions for 2023-2024
ALL ORCHESTRA AUDITIONS WILL BE DONE LIVE ON CAMPUS in ROOM 159 just prior to the start of fall classes.
Any CSUN student can audition for the CSUN Symphony.
All string students and wind performance, percussion performance and music education majors will receive audition excerpts and sign up for information by the end of July. All others interested in auditioning can e-mail to receive additional information.
Auditions will take place on the following dates and times. You will be sent a link to a site where you can sign up for a time.
Friday, August 25
9:30-10:30 Flutes and Oboes
10:30-11:30 Clarinets and Bassoon
4:30-5:45 Trumpets and Horns

11 a.m. to Noon – Violas
Noon to 1:30 p.m. – Celli and Basses
EXCERPT INFORMATION
Dr. Roscigno will e-mail excerpt information to all returning and incoming strings, plus all wind performance and music education majors by late July. Anyone who does not receive the e-mail can contact him at after July 17th to recieve the excerpt information.
