Round-up of candidates for Santa Barbara Unified School Board and Goleta City Council

Kevin Thomas Guay is a father and history teacher. He’s previously worked as a middle school teacher, high school teacher, teacher’s assistant and lecturer. He is married to an elementary arts teacher at Laguna Blanca. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree from California State University, Northridge and his PhD from the University of Texas at El Paso, with a specialization in American history and Indigenous history.
