Stuart Waldman has served as president of the Valley Industry and Commerce Association since 2008. Under his leadership, VICA represents more than 1.8 million Valley residents and 245,000 businesses, engaging in a variety of policy and economic issues, from transportation and housing to workforce development and public safety. Waldman spent 11 years in the California State Assembly, including seven years as chief of staff, before joining VICA. He currently serves on the boards of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games organizing committee, the Valley Economic Alliance, the Cal State Northridge Foundation, and the Los Angeles Press Club advisory board.
