The CCI is an opt-inpledge by DI men's soccer programs to include a Black group of candidates for caoching vacancies. Eleven programs were announced as part of the first class: Sasho Cirovski – Maryland, Nick Carlin-Voigt - Portland, Chaka Daley – Michigan, Terry Davila – Cal-State Northridge, Chris Gbandi - Northeastern, Leo Griffin – University of San Francisco, Kevin Grimes – Cal, Ryan Hopkins – San Diego State, Bobby Muuss – Wake Forest, Bo Oshoniyi - Dartmouth, and Ray Reid - Connecticut.
