How last week’s wins over Hawaii prepared Long Beach State for Big West Tournament and playoff volleyball

Long Beach State and Hawaii both earned byes in the first-round of the Big West Tournament. The 49ers will play the winner of UC Santa Barbara and CSUN in the semifinals, and the Rainbow Warriors will play whoever advances between UC Irvine and UC San Diego.
