As a kid I really liked hockey, but never got the chance to get in to it. I’m just your average beer leaguer who started playing hockey after he left the Marine Corps after 8 years, in 2013. I signed up for a local learn to skate class and fell in love with it immediately. I started as a skater, defenseman mostly, and then eventually decided to join a special group of people who think stopping pucks is fun. At the same time, I started watching hockey regularly, and as a native of Los Angeles it was a natural fit to follow the Kings. I went to one game at the Staples Center and I was hooked. I have a degree in Athletic Training (Sports Medicine) from CSU Northridge and I’m working on my MBA currently, through Syracuse University.
