Charter schools aren’t specifically on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting, but the issue will be big going forward, if the recent school board election is an indication, said Theresa Montaño, a professor at Cal State Northridge’s Chicano/a Studies Department and vice president of the California Teachers Association.
