The No. 12 Long Beach State Dirtbags wouldn’t go away in their matchup against the Cal State Northridge Matadors on Saturday afternoon at Blair Field. But crooked numbers in the final third of the game lifted CSUN (17-20, 4-5 Big West) to an 8-5 win. All eight runs for CSUN were scored with two outs.
