Longtime head of Camarillo Hospice is retiring

He worked as an owner-manager of Sambo’s restaurants in Miami, Florida and Santa Barbara. The couple moved to Camarillo, where he became manager-owner of the Strawberry Tree restaurant (now Marie Callender’s) on Daily Drive. Since then, he has served as food service director at UCLA, Cal State Northridge and, currently, Cal State Channel Islands in Camarillo.
