MARC & RISE Programs
The Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) and Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement (RISE) programs are special research training programs funded by the National Institutes of Health. The programs' goals are to:
- increase the number and capabilities of underrepresented scientists engaged in basic biomedical research,
- strengthen science curricula and research opportunities at CSUN and
- strengthen the biomedical research capabilities of minority-serving institutions
