Prof. Meeta Banerjee has received the Association of Black Psychologists "2016 SAGE Professional Research Award" for excellence in scholarship. The award is for her 2014 Journal of Black Psychology publication titled Community Violence and Racial Socialization: Their Influence on the Psychosocial Well-Being of African American College Students.
