UPDATED Jan. 7, 2022. Per CSUN's announcement on January 7, CSUN will begin the spring semester with temporary primarily remote instruction for the first three weeks of the semester, Monday, January 24 through Friday, February 11. We will resume in-person instruction on Monday, February 14. Per the California State University’s new policy, all eligible students and non-represented employees will be expected to provide proof of a booster shot by February 4. More info: Students. Edward Kung, an assistant professor of economics at California State University, Northridge, said there is no question that the influx of short-term rentals, like those offered by Airbnb, led to higher rent prices and adversely impacted the housing supply, particularly for long-term renters.
