Nazarian College Receives AACSB Recognition
Congratulations to Professor Joy Griffin and the Spring 2015 BUS 497BBH (Business Honors Capstone) student team, Nadia Ali, Brandon Kaufman, Eduard Martirosov, and Lilianna Stelmach, whose comprehensive business plan took 2nd place nationally at the annual SBI competition!
For the 4th consecutive year, Business Honors students in Professor Joy Griffin's BUS 497BBH received national recognition from the Small Business Institute (SBI). The 2015 team's comprehensive business plan for client Academic Achievers was entered in the national Small Business Institute (SBI) "Project of the Year Competition." Last November the team was notified that their submission was selected as one of the "Top Three" business plans in their category. This weekend, at the annual conference in New Orleans, it was announced that the CSUN team won 2nd place nationally!
This is a testament to the quality of professional training provided by Professor Griffin and the quality of the Business Honors students.
