About Utpal Mangla
Utpal Mangla is currently a General Manager for Industry EDGE Clouds in IBM and has been recognized as a Global Leader of IBM’s Telecommunications, Media and Entertainment Industry. He previously held the position of Vice President and Senior Partner in IBM.
With a focus on driving AI, 5G EDGE, Hybrid Cloud and Blockchain Innovations, Utpal has helped IBM’s Watson AI reach 1.5 billion consumers. He also has assisted in creating four Industry Blockchain platforms.
Utpal is a regular speaker at industry forums, business conferences and university panels globally. At CSUN, he co-leads the annual “Workforce of the Future” symposium and acts as a distinguished judge during the Bull Ring New Venture Competition.

The Advisory Board of the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics was created to support the Dean in continuing the college’s qualitative growth. As the primary advisory body, the College Advisory Board provides advice and counsel for the college’s academic and professional programs while playing an essential role in fundraising efforts aimed to address strategic initiatives.
