Nazarian College Finance Alumnus Creates Scholarship for Insurance Students
David Nazarian College of Business and Economics alumnus, Tim Gaspar (Finance ‘07), has made a gift of $30,000 to create a scholarship that will support students who are interested in pursuing a career in Risk Management and Insurance.
The Timothy K. Gaspar Scholarship Endowment for Insurance will provide one annual scholarship award to a student who is currently enrolled in the Nazarian College.
Since graduating from the Nazarian College with a degree in Finance in 2017, Tim has created a very successful insurance company based in Woodland Hills. Timothy K. Gaspar Insurance Services, Inc. has been ranked consistently by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the largest insurance brokerages in the Los Angeles area. Recognizing that the education he received in the Nazarian College has been instrumental in that success, Tim hopes that his scholarship will encourage more Nazarian College students to pursue a career in the insurance industry.
