Nazarian College Alumnus, Chuck Noski, to Serve on EY US Independent Audit Quality Committee

CSUN Nazarian College alumnus Charles (Chuck) H. Noski has been elected as one of three inaugural members of the recently formed Independent Audit Quality Committee (IAQC). With his relevant experience and leadership in the industry, Noski will help EY deliver high-quality audits that strengthen confidence in the U.S. capital and global markets.

VITA Clinic to Provide Free Tax Preparation Assistance to Low-Income People

VITA Clinic Volunteer Assisting Taxpayer

Chaos may prevail in Washington, but as Benjamin Franklin once wrote: “In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.”

To help with the latter, California State University, Northridge’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Clinic is offering free tax preparation assistance to low-income families and individuals, including non-English speakers, people with disabilities and veterans, from Jan. 28 through April 13 at CSUN and satellite locations throughout Los Angeles County. Nazarian College Wins 2018 UEDA Innovation + Talent Award

California State University, Northridge brought home two awards from the University Economic Development Association (UEDA) Annual Summit, which took place Oct. 21-24 in Milwaukee, Wis. The David Nazarian College of Business and Economics won the Talent and Innovation Award for its Summer Accelerator program, and the Marilyn Magaram Center for Food Science, Nutrition and Dietetics’ Peer Mentorship Program received the organization’s Editor’s Choice Award.
