Distinguished Speaker Series

The Nazarian College created the Younes Nazarian Distinguished Speaker Series to bring high-level speakers to campus to inspire our students and alumni.

On March 12, the college will welcome Marty Chavez, vice chair and partner of the global investment firm Sixth Street. Dr. Chavez is a financial trailblazer who turned the Wall Street trading business into a software business and revolutionized the way that capital moves and works. He will discuss recruiting, internship and career opportunities for CSUN students at his firm as part of his remarks for the Distinguished Speaker Series event. Register today.

Past speakers include Eric Chan, former CEO for the LA Clippers; Ramesh Damani, chair of Avenue Supermarts; Henry Cisneros, former Secretary of HUD in the Clinton administration; Jane Wurwand, founder of Dermalogica; Steve Rabuchin, vice president for Amazon Alexa Voice Services and Alexa Skills; Michael Grillo, award-winning film producer; Michael Kramer, CEO and founding partner of Ducera Partners; Bruce Gersh, president of People, People En Español and Entertainment Weekly; and Paul Dali, former GM of Apple.

Rabuchin, Grillo, Kramer, Gersh and Dali are alumni of the Nazarian College.
