The Student Portal Planning Committee is an adhoc working group charged with coordinating the content and design of the myNorthridge Portal and the CSUN app. The committee’s responsibilities include implementing strategic objectives and effective functionality, producing visually appealing design and engaging content consistent with university standards, assessing efficacy and user satisfaction and integrating new technology.
Information Technology is responsible for delivering an effective, secure and reliable technology infrastructure and technology services that enable, promote and support CSUN students, faculty and staff.
The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs provides strategic leadership and guidance to Student Affairs departments and fosters collaborations across CSUN to support student success and wellbeing.
Academic Affairs is one of CSUN's largest units and worksunder the guidance and leadership of the provost and vice president for Academic Affairs. Nearly all academic matters fall under the provost’s purview.
The Administration & Finance Division provides essential services to CSUN students, faculty, staff and the community in university fiscal operations such as building, grounds and road construction and maintenance; police services; risk management; intercollegiate athletics; and human resource administration.
University Advancement serves to enhance CSUN’s reputation, build and strengthen its financial resources, and expand its network and influence through strategic communications and engagement of internal and external stakeholders.
Admissions and Records provides support services that foster student success, beginning with the admission application and culminating in graduation. The office also handles questions about CSUN student applications, the evaluation of domestic or international transfer course work, registration, official transcripts and graduation.
