52nd Annual Franz Liszt Festival

Hosted by California State University, Northridge and the American Liszt Society

California State University Northridge is proud to host the 2016 American Liszt Society Festival, giving it the distinction of being the first institution in Southern California to present the symposium during its 52-year history.

The festival theme, "Liszt and Russia," promises to open a field of exciting discoveries and unveil a wealth of information. Its genesis goes back to Liszt's tours of Russia in the 1840s and his contacts with Russian musicians.  We welcome every musician and music lover to attend the three-day event, which will include great performances, lectures, discussions and masterclasses. All are welcome! For more information, please visit http://www.als2016.org/
