CSUN Music Students Delight Royals during German Arts Tour

When they entered the White Hall of the famous castle of Mainau, Germany, the group of California State University students had no idea how their audience would react. The choral performance — the first ever in the historic venue — was hosted by the Swedish royal family, which owns the castle and is known for being extremely selective with events. Read more

Not long after graduation from California State University, Northridge, Strauser struck gold in the entertainment industry. He worked his way up the proverbial Hollywood ladder to become vice president of talent development and casting for TLC, bringing personalities such as “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro to the masses. Keith S. Goldstein was honored by the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ-LA) with its prestigious Distinguished Journalist Award. Ron Borczon Wins Music Therapy Award

Professor Ron Borczon was awarded the Publications Award at the Regional Conference of the Western Region Music Therapy Association. His publications include two text books and book on how guitar playing relates to life, chapters in three music therapy texts and numerous articles.  He has also published arrangements made for two guitars in the Guitar Foundation of America periodical, Soundboard.  Professor Borczon is the Chair of the Music Therapy program and Director of the CSUN Music Therapy Wellness Clinic. He is also on the guitar faculty. Read more
