CSUN’s Department of Cinema and Television Arts has an international reputation for producing dedicated and talented entertainment industry professionals who recognize the value of hard work as they learn and continue to perfect their crafts. The department currently enrolls nearly 1,600 undergraduate students and 30 students in its graduate screenwriting program. Its alumni work in all aspects of entertainment media, from writing, producing and directing to manning cameras and having the final say in what project is made. Earlier this year, the entertainment trade magazine Variety listed CSUN as one of the top 30 film programs in the world. The Hollywood Reporter also listed CSUN on its list of the top 25 U.S. film schools.
You've landed at the Cinema and Television Arts Department Production Resource Center. Here you will find useful production support as you produce film and television content in the studio and in the field. This site is divided up among several categories. FORMS & TUTORIALS, MANUALS, OPTION SPECIFIC RESOURCES. In OPTION SPECIFIC RESOURCES, you will currently find documents and charts that are needed in relation to TV Studio Production and TV Field Production. The manuals link will take you to a listing of the operation manuals for most of the equipment we use. You can find most downloadable forms such as location releases and talent releases under FORMS & TUTORIALS. There are useful video tutorials for understanding how to obtain support from the ARC (ARRI Resource Center).
Our current semester will largely be a virtual experience. However there will be instructions posted soon with respect to our in-person class experiences for Fall 2020. You may send an email us and leave a message "LIST" in the subject line to receive updates.
