Faculty Program Application Process

MONTH	PROGRAM PHASE & TASKS
September	Submit program Study Abroad proposal and preliminary spending plan to COMS Chair by end of September
October	Programs will undergo a preliminary review by Tseng College International Programs and Partnerships Program approved by the Dean of the College & Chair of the Department
November December	Program brochure and application activated and opened for applications Attend Workshop #1 Attend Workshop #2
January	Promote program at StudyAbroad Fair Recruit program applicants Hold program info sessions
February	Recruit program applicants Contact IAP Administration to begin accepting program payments once program is confirmed
March	Begin reviewing program applications Program confirmation occurs once CSUN receives the minimum number of students to register and pay for the course.
April	Schedule your first pre-departure orientation Submit a travel warning waiver to TC for travel to a high-riskdestination Meet with the Tseng College International Manager to discuss health, safety, and emergency planning abroad
May	Finalize program activities, housing, transportation, and itinerary with IAP
June	Class meetings one week prior to departure Run your program! Remind students to complete the online program evaluation
July	Class meetings to prep for Symposium Symposium Showcase
