History - MAXIMIZING POTENTIAL
Our partnership started in Spring 2018 at the Topanga Police Station with 50 Cadets, and has now expanded to reach all 22 stations across LA City with over 300 youth participants. While these workshops primarily take place at the ‘Cadet Leadership Academy’ in Westchester, we kick off our program with all Cadets touring the CSUN campus and establishing CSUN student mentorship with the CSUN students. This program works to build trust and relationships between college students, community youth and the Los Angeles Police Department. Overall we hope to make education more approachable and more attainable for our underserved communities.”
