Media Theory and Criticism Option

 Ideal for those who want to write about film, television or emerging media or prepare for graduate work, this option grounds students In media history, theory, and critical analysis. Rigorous and rewarding curriculum helps students to synthesize conceptual and historical knowledge, aesthetics, and critical discernment with analytical skills. 

Requirements for the Bachelor of Arts Degree:

  • All lower and upper division courses taken toward completion of the CTVA major must be completed with a grade of C or better.
