Northridge Review Art Submissions

March 10, 2015

Good morning, Professor Alfano!

My name is Kristin Kaz and I am the Editor in Chief of the Northridge Review, Cal State Northridge’s literary magazine. Every semester we publish fiction, creative nonfiction, drama, and poetry from students across campus. Our interest does not only fall within the realm of written creativity—we also ask students for artwork and other creative projects. Although I’m fairly certain a few students from my editorial staff have already spoken to members of the Art department, I wanted to reach out to you and ask that you please, please spread the word that we are definitely looking for art submissions and will be accepting artwork on a continual basis from now until the middle/end of April. Although the intention of the literary magazine in its earlier days may have been to draw attention to the English department, the magazine has evolved into a representation of our students’ multifaceted creative prowess, and we would love to encourage further contribution from the Art department.

Our submissions are accepted online, through submittable.com (https://thenorthridgereview.submittable.com/submit). If you could forward this link to professors, who will hopefully then forward the link to their students, I would greatly appreciate it! If you haven’t the time, please do let me know so I can reconfigure my outreach scheme!

Thanks so much for your time, and have a wonderful day.

Sincerely,

Kristin Kaz
