LA Opera’s ‘Titus’ Art Contest Winner

February 20, 2019

About 50 aspiring artists from Southern California colleges entered LA Opera’s annual College Art Contest for The Clemency of Titus. Jesslyn Brundy of California State, Northridge took away the top prize of $5,000 with her artwork depicting the burning of Rome. You can read about it here.

The continuous and generous support of GRoW @ Annenberg, a philanthropic initiative of the Annenberg Foundation, invited local college students to compete by creating artwork inspired by LA Opera’s The Clemency of Titus. The show’s performance program will feature the first place submission on the cover. The show opens March 2, 2019.
