Anita Bunn grew up in Houston, Texas, but has made Los Angeles her home for over 30 years. She earned an B.A. in Fine Art at Trinity University (1986), a B.F.A. in Photography at Art Center College of Design (1990), and an M.F.A. in Studio Art / Photography at Claremont Graduate University (2007). She began teaching in the Art Department at California State University, Northridge in 2016 and continues to teach at several community colleges. Her work is an investigation into the act of noticing, of seeking out the subtle shifts in perception that occur over time and through repetition. She has exhibited locally, nationally, and internationally, has curated exhibitions, and has work in several public and private collections.
